this is one of my first times using acrylic paints, i usually do watercolor and it’s usually shitty. I wish i had a smaller brush.

Finally finished this thing. Sorry about the huge watermark. I’ve never had a problem with people stealing my work, but I don’t want to be too careful, since I really like this and am super proud of it.

This was going to be my cash cow into Botcon, but since I have school and zero money with Botcon right around the corner, I figure I can just sell this for some money on the side. I put it off for a long time because I wasn’t sure which fonts to use, but I like these. With the way the image is designed, I’ll only be able to sell it at 11”x17” (because I’m dumb and don’t plan ahead for this kind of stuff). I’m planning on using Society6 as a platform to sell, since I don’t want to use dA or MyShopify or Etsy.

So anyway, I know this concept is a little strange, considering he’s a Cybertronian, like why would he cook? He can’t taste the food he makes, can he? Also that crawfish has to be as big as a tire. Also he’s probably not even cooking, he’s just setting fire to things and not understanding why he’s doing exactly what the tv chefs are doing and everyone’s screaming at him to put out the fire. He just wanted to make gumbo!

I swear this was just going to be a doodle and then it got out of hand and I just kept working on it and well here we are

I was inspired to draw this while, on the way home from the store, I witnessed a woman on her moped just driving by. We don’t see a lot of mopeds around here, so it stuck out to me especially. Something about her said rat, so because I can’t draw human faces to save my life, I drew a rat anthro instead. (gosh i love rats so much they’re hella cute fjdkslfjdl)

I’m not very good at drawing vehicles, so I referenced heavily off of a picture from the interbutts. This was approximately the woman’s outfit.

Finally finished this commission! Huge watermark per request of the commissioner, please do not attempt to remove it. This was a labor of love for a good long time, mostly because half the time I didn’t know what the hell to do with it. Then some layer magic happened and here we are! I’m seriously loving the shading on the medals and buttons and things. I shaded the fuck outta those.

I realize there are problems with this, but the commissioner is happy and when I have better skills in the future, I want to re-do this, but for now I think it looks pretty good. :3

also i would like to add that since the commissioner paid more than what was asked, I made it painted rather than lined and shaded (like I normally would).

i tried doing a paint thing but i got fed up halfway through so here u go

well i tried to make Sarita a satyr, but that wasn’t exactly flying. I couldn’t exactly give her long hair for one reason or another. idk.
